Arkansas District Judges Council

The Arkansas District Judges Council works to promote the common professional interests of its members. These interests include fostering and preserving the integrity, dignity and independence of the judiciary; promoting uniformity in judicial administration; developing implementing and maintaining a program of judicial education designed to meet the diverse needs of district court judges; and by aiding new district court judges whether appointed or elected.

The Arkansas District Judges Council membership includes currently serving judges of the district courts and retired judges who served as district court judges for at least ten (10) years. The council conducts formal business meetings in the spring and fall of each year.
