Dependency/Neglect Attorney Qualification Training

The Juvenile Division will host its Fall 2020 Dependency/Neglect Qualification Training on September 14-17, 2020 virtually via Zoom. The training will consist of four 3 hour sessions during each morning of the week of the 14th. Completing the training will provide the CLE necessary to qualify as a Dependency/Neglect Attorney ad Litem or Parent Counsel. This training is intended for attorneys seeking to fulfill the initial qualification requirements mandated in Administrative Order No. 15. This training will not qualify you for the Domestic Relations Attorney ad Litem Program.

The cost of the 12-hour training is $300 for attorneys licensed for greater than a year. If you received your license within the last twelve months, the cost is $100. This amount covers the cost of the training and includes a copy of Child Welfare Law and Practice: Representing Children, Parents, and State Agencies in Abuse, Neglect, and Dependency Cases
