Oral Arguments - Court of Appeals

Oral arguments before the Arkansas Court of Appeals are held each Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. in the Supreme Court and Court of Appeals Courtroom, except during recess or as otherwise announced. For cases argued orally, the the archived oral argument will be posted below. Oral arguments are requested and heard in accordance with Ark. Sup. Ct. R. 5-1.

The Court of Appeals has twelve judges. Usually cases are assigned to three-judge panels for consideration. The judges on a case's panel will write the opinion for that case.
