Minimum Viable Product 1 (MVP1)

Initial Setup

  • Initial Business Rules for Traffic and Criminal cases were documented
  • Initial Validation requirements for Traffic and Criminal cases were created
  • Created Login Page
    • Created Login Redirect page, which redirects the user to the post-login landing page after a successful login
  • Created Landing Page
    • Created initial authorization, only allowing users with permission to access Case Management
  • Add Navigation frame to User Interface (UI)
  • Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines for the User Interface (UI)
    • Including all recommended changes
    • Any recommended changes not included initially will be added in the future

 

Case Management

  • Created left navigation frame for navigating Case Management
  • Created Case Index page
    • This page shows all the cases currently in the system
    • Updated page to show a confirmation message when a case is created
  • Created Case Creation page
    • This page is used to create the page
      • Initial Data Fields
        • Case Number
        • Case Style (Formerly known as Case Description)
          • Voted on by the focus group
        • Court
        • Filing Date
        • Case Type
    • Updated page to include more data fields
      • Added Data Fields
        • Case Security
        • Case Exception
        • Trial Type
    • Updated page to include a “Save and Add Another” button
      • Voted on by the focus group
        • The “Save” button navigates the user to the Case Index page after they create a case
        • The “Save and Add Another” stays on the Case Create page so that the user can more easily create multiple cases.
        • The "Save and Add Another" button is green
          • Voted on by the focus group
      • Updated page to include initial rules and validations
        • This is to ensure that the correct data is being input into each data
      • Updated page to include Automatic Case Sequence Generation
      • Updated page to show a confirmation message when a case is created
      • Update page to have a toggle for creating manual cases
        • This makes the Case Number field, as well as the Case Status and Filing Type fields, visible

        • This page is used to delete a case
        • It is accessed from the Case Index page or Case Detail page
        • User must type "DELETE" in specified box to confirm the deletion

    • Useful for potential disaster recovery

 

Focus Group

  • Email Distribution group was created for communication with focus group
  • SharePoint site was created to share documents, PowerPoints, and other useful information with the focus group
  • A page was added to the arcourts.gov website as another platform for sharing information with the focus group, as well as the public
    • Initial Roadmap was added to the website
  • A Microsoft Teams channel was created for better communication with Focus Group
