A practice test is being offered by the Arkansas Board of Certified Court Reporter Examiners. There is no charge to participants. Lunch will be provided. The practice test is open to anyone interested in taking the court reporter certification exam.
In this practice session, participants will be given the dictation portion of the exam, consisting of 5 minutes of literary dictation at 180 wpm; 5 minutes of jury charge dictation at 200 wpm; and 5 minutes of Q&A dictation at 225 wpm.
Participants will then transcribe the dictation in accordance with testing rules and procedures.
At the conclusion of transcription, the participants will assist the test proctors in grading the exams.
Registration is required to attend and must be received no later than June 21, 2019.
