Arkansas Code of 1987 Annotated, § 16-17-1002. "District Court Resource Assessment Board," provides:
The board shall consist of eleven (11) members appointed as follows:
Two members of the Senate appointed by the Chair of the Senate Committee on Judiciary;
Two members of the House of Representatives appointed by the Chair of the House Committee on Judiciary; and
Seven members appointed by the Supreme Court as follows: Two members of the Arkansas District Judges Council; one member of the Association of Arkansas Counties; one member of the Arkansas Municipal League; one Justice of the Supreme Court; one member of the Arkansas Bar Association who is engaged in the full-time private practice of law; and one circuit judge.
The board shall have three (3) ex officio members who shall serve as nonvoting members: the Chair of the Senate Committee on Judiciary or his or her designee; the Chair of the House Committee on Judiciary or his or her designee; and the Attorney General or his or her designee.
