Open/Keynote: Blazing the Trail to Modern Court Management
The AOC has contracted with the NCSC for consultation on our path to court management modernization.  Concluding a week of onsite visits with some courts and the AOC, Felix will share experiences and observations from other jurisdictions that can help Arkansas chart a new course.

D.A.D. and Directions - A Possible Path to Court Modernization
Last year, the AOC began exploring other options than Conduent for modernizing court technologies.  After conduct research and analysis, the Chief authorized the AOC to undertake a small prototype project, which has evolved into the first of possibly many projects to modernize court management systems.  Lee Lowe and Michial Armstrong will be sharing preliminary results from the first project effort. 

Taking the Road Less Traveled: Contexte Imaging and eFlex
 Implementing electronic filing requires the use of Contexte internal imaging.  When courts start receiving electronic documents, courts must give special care to the quality of the electronic documents.  This session will provide tips on how to ensure that scanned documents, image resolution, and electronically filed documents will stand the test of time.

Counting on Circuit Court Accounting (90 min hands-on; includes eFlex)  A hands-on session designed to show tips/tricks for End-of-Month processing.  Bank reconciliation troubleshooting techniques will also be covered in this session.

Session DirectThis feature in Contexte allows court staff to manage plea, disposition, events, case actions, and payment plans on court days.  A panel of court clerks will be present to discuss how they use SessionDirect in their court.

Avoiding Roadblocks with Legislative AuditAOC developed custom data views for Legislative Audit to retrieve prior to conducting an audit.  In this session, David Coles and Tim Jones will help the Contexte courts better navigate the audit process.

How do we get to an electronic record on appeal?The Supreme  Court Clerk is exploring options to move to an electronic record on appeal.  In this session an open discussion of challenges and changes will help define the path forward.

Cover Sheet Q & A Ever wondered where to enter something on a cover sheet in Contexte? How do you know if a case is really closed? Why is that on the cover sheet, anyway? This is your chance to ask questions and get answers for all of your cover and disposition sheet questions!

Student Driver: Contexte Basics for New Users  Are you new to Contexte?  Are you going on Contexte soon?  If so, this is the session for you.  The session will walk users through the basic navigation and inquiry features in Contexte.

The Shortest Route to Modernization: SAVRY/JDCCMSIn this session, see the work that was done for the application, which may help advise us on how to move forward on full system modernization. Over the last couple of years, the AOC created a more modern interface into Contexte data for Juvenile Drug Court users and users of the SAVRY assessment.  Using existing technology, AOC gave a more modern look and feel for the users.
