“Conference on the American Courthouse” is the focus of events sponsored by the Arkansas Supreme Court Historical Society at its annual conference on Friday, October 5, 2007.  All events will be held in the Justice Building, 625 Marshall Street, on the State Capitol grounds. Presentations at the conference will address topics such as the courthouse as a symbol of justice, current trends in courthouse design, courtroom technology, the courthouses of Arkansas, courthouse accessibility, and courthouse design and financing.  The Historical Society will also conduct a noon luncheon meeting for its membership.

The conference is open to the public and admission is free.  Reservations and payment of the registration fee are required in order to receive written materials and to qualify for continuing legal education [approved for 5.25 general credit CLE hours has been made]; the cost of registration also includes lunch.
